PROJECT 12 | Motion Capture Animations | 2004
![]()
A series of motion capture animations I produced for the Waco Resurrection project as well as for my other game-related projects. I directed a team of dancers in performing a number of standard (and some not-so-standard) game actions such as running, jumping, etc. Some of them are looping cycles, and some are one-shot animations meant for blending according to the animation blending capabilities afforded by various game engines (most of these were produced with the Torque Game Engine in mind).
The animations were recorded using a Vicon-8 optical motion capture studio system. They were cleaned up, optimized, and rendered using 3dsmax and character studio.
They were rendered here in greenscreen format for easy chromakeying and blending in live video performances.
